Disability or Chronic condition expedition

Nearly 1 in 5 women have disabilities or chronic conditions and often face multiple forms of discrimination. This can present significant challenges for their leadership and their lives. This expedition will explore what needs to be done to include women with disabilities or chronic conditions in leading settings by developing an approach to leading drawn from their specific experiences.

Not only will this expedition support participants in their own leading, but it will also connect them as a group. The approach generated from this expedition will be shared with women across the world who are leading with a disability or chronic condition.

Katrina Webb, paralympic gold medalist, and Kate Middleton, Chief Executive of the Wren Project, will lead the Expedition. They will guide the group through the core concepts and support them in translating their discoveries into an approach to leading that can provide an outline for other women and increase advocacy and visibility for women leading with a disability or chronic condition.
